About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the Systems Engineering organization to support multiple, concurrent aerospace programs.
- Implement Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, including SysML modeling and requirements traceability.
- Establish technical governance frameworks and standardized processes across the product lifecycle.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of systems thinking and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of architecture, requirements, and verification activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of progressive systems engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading large, complex systems engineering efforts in aerospace or defense, with a focus on MBSE and requirements management.
- Hands‑on expertise with SysML tools (e.g., Cameo, Enterprise Architect) and requirements management platforms (e.g., DOORS, Jama).
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices and ability to integrate them with traditional systems engineering processes.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain a SAP clearance.
