About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to define system requirements, architecture, and integration plans for complex defense platforms.
- Coordinate cross‑disciplinary engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with program objectives and schedule milestones.
- Develop and maintain system-level documentation, including functional specifications, interface control documents, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate design reviews, technical meetings, and stakeholder communications to resolve technical issues and drive decision‑making.
- Ensure compliance with DoD standards, security requirements, and quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace or defense environments.
- Proven leadership of integrated product teams and experience managing multi‑disciplinary projects.
- Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, security clearance procedures, and defense system integration.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Valid U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
