Design and implement wiring solutions for advanced power distribution systems, creating schematics, testing circuits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed wiring diagrams and schematics for vehicle, robotics, and energy platform projects using CAD tools.
- Design and size power distribution components, ensuring optimal performance, weight, and cost.
- Perform circuit testing, validation, and troubleshooting to verify functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to integrate wiring solutions into overall system architectures.
- Maintain technical documentation, revision control, and compliance with UL, IEC, and other relevant standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in wiring design and power distribution for complex electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Eagle, or similar) and familiarity with PLC programming.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on testing and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively in fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environments.
