About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and optimize casting production systems using CAD and FEA tools.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements and reduce cycle times.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system specifications, work instructions, and quality control procedures.
- Lead root‑cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering within a metal casting or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA (ANSYS, Abaqus) software.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and manufacturing best practices.
