Senior Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining high‑availability infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable Linux‑based infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
- Design and manage virtualized environments (VMware, KVM) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Lead migration projects to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and optimize cost/performance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash) for configuration, monitoring, and deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and availability issues across multi‑tier systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and enforce infrastructure standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
- Deep expertise in Linux administration, networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
- Proven track record with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and automation tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
