About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical planning, design, and integration of underwater warfare systems for naval platforms.
- Develop and execute Verification & Validation plans to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Perform cost and risk analysis throughout the system life cycle, providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, interfaces, and supportability strategies.
- Document engineering decisions, maintain configuration management, and support sustainment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering for complex naval or defense projects.
- Proven expertise in underwater warfare or related combat system integration.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost, risk, and supportability assessment.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
