Systems Engineer Training Lead Level 4 - Northrop Grumman

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training curricula for advanced defense systems, ensuring alignment with system architecture and operational requirements.
• Lead cross‑functional teams of engineers, subject‑matter experts, and instructional designers to create hands‑on training materials, simulations, and documentation.
• Manage the full training lifecycle, from needs analysis and curriculum planning through execution, assessment, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with program managers and stakeholders to integrate training schedules with system development milestones and deployment timelines.
• Maintain compliance with security protocols, ensuring all training content and delivery methods meet Top Secret clearance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering with a proven track record of leading technical training initiatives for defense or aerospace programs.
• Active Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Strong project management skills, including Agile or Scrum experience, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent training projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable training content.
