Systems Engineer
Lead the design, development, and delivery of technical training programs for complex defense systems, leveraging systems engineering expertise and Agile project management while maintaining Top Secret clearance requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training curricula for advanced defense systems, ensuring alignment with system architecture and operational requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams of engineers, subject‑matter experts, and instructional designers to create hands‑on training materials, simulations, and documentation.
- Manage the full training lifecycle, from needs analysis and curriculum planning through execution, assessment, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with program managers and stakeholders to integrate training schedules with system development milestones and deployment timelines.
- Maintain compliance with security protocols, ensuring all training content and delivery methods meet Top Secret clearance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering with a proven track record of leading technical training initiatives for defense or aerospace programs.
- Active Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Strong project management skills, including Agile or Scrum experience, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent training projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable training content.
