Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and supporting disaster recovery and managed services for enterprise clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for diverse workloads.
- Configure and maintain secure networking components, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, perform regular failover testing, and document procedures.
- Provide day‑to‑day support for managed services, monitoring system health and troubleshooting incidents.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement remediation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and networking fundamentals.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and configuration management.
- Experience with backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
