About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tier‑2/3 technical support for complex systems, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts (Python/Bash) to streamline troubleshooting and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement configuration changes, patches, and upgrades while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, create knowledge‑base articles, and conduct training sessions for end users.
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem reviews to improve system resilience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or technical support roles.
- Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and virtualization technologies.
- Hands‑on scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation and diagnostics.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and user training.
