About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for mission‑critical aerospace and defense systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (Python, Bash) to improve system reliability and reduce manual effort.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) supporting system deployments, monitoring, and scaling.
- Apply configuration management and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, version control) to ensure consistent, repeatable system builds.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to integrate new hardware/software upgrades and validate performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of O&M experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting in Python or Bash.
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM) and cloud‑based deployment strategies.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced, security‑focused environment, and strong communication abilities.
