About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop software components for space mission and hypersonic defense systems using Python and advanced simulation tools.
- Integrate machine learning models into mission assurance workflows to improve decision‑making speed and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, perform trade studies, and validate performance against national security standards.
- Document design decisions, test plans, and results, ensuring compliance with rigorous defense documentation practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering for defense or aerospace applications.
- Proficiency in Python, digital engineering methodologies, and simulation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their application to mission-critical systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
