About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain client‑facing Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and manage virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud resources (AWS, Azure) to meet business requirements.
- Deploy and troubleshoot networking components, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, providing secure connectivity.
- Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and Bash scripts, improving deployment speed and reducing errors.
- Monitor system health using tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Azure Monitor, proactively addressing issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new applications and services into existing infrastructures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, with strong Windows Server and Linux skills.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and security.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
