About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical planning and design of integrated bridge and navigation systems for naval warships.
- Coordinate system integration, verification, and validation activities to meet performance and safety requirements.
- Manage cost, risk, and supportability analyses throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of combat and navigation subsystems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration for naval or complex defense platforms.
- Proficiency in V&V processes, risk management, and supportability analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Familiarity with modern engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., SysML, DO-178C).
