Systems Engineer
Senior Systems Engineer supporting Air Force Life Cycle Management Center programs, driving acquisition and integration of air traffic management, CNS/ATM avionics, and weather sensing solutions for military and allied customers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering activities for air traffic management and CNS/ATM avionics programs, ensuring alignment with acquisition lifecycle requirements.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, functional specifications, and integration plans for weather sensing and forecast capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate design concepts, conduct trade studies, and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, risk assessments, and performance evaluation reports for program stakeholders.
- Support test planning, execution, and analysis to verify system performance against mission objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in systems engineering for air traffic management, CNS/ATM, or avionics systems.
- Strong knowledge of acquisition processes, configuration management, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience with weather sensing technologies and forecast integration is a plus.
