Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of satellite subsystems, applying advanced systems engineering, embedded C/C++, and RF expertise to deliver reliable spaceborne solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture for satellite missions, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Lead requirements analysis, trade studies, and risk assessments for satellite subsystems, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
- Design, implement, and validate embedded firmware in C/C++ for avionics and payload interfaces, using MATLAB/Simulink for modeling.
- Perform RF design, link budget calculations, and antenna integration to meet mission communication specifications.
- Execute integration, test, and qualification activities, documenting results and driving corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support program management with status reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in satellite or space systems engineering.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ development and MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
- Strong knowledge of RF design, link budgets, and satellite communication protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
