Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise hardware, software, and network solutions. Focuses on Linux/Windows environments, virtualization, cloud services, and automation to ensure robust, scalable infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable server, storage, and network infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Develop and automate configuration and deployment pipelines using scripting (Python, PowerShell) and tools such as Ansible.
- Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards, performing regular health checks and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support end‑to‑end technical projects, preparing documentation and gate‑review materials.
- Provide rapid incident response, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term remediation for production issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing Linux/Windows Server environments.
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, VPNs).
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
