Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and testing of electromechanical subsystems for cutting‑edge cytology products, driving performance, cost, and reliability through rigorous engineering analysis and component selection.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evaluate new electromechanical concepts for product and process improvements.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis, performance modeling, and cost assessments to guide design decisions.
- Select and qualify components, ensuring compatibility and manufacturability.
- Integrate subsystems into complete solutions, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
- Plan, execute, and document verification and validation testing to meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support R&D initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in electromechanical design and systems integration within a product development environment.
- Proficiency in CAD, simulation tools, and testing instrumentation.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of performance and cost optimization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a collaborative R&D setting.
