Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, high‑availability infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments, leveraging Linux, Windows Server, Python, PowerShell, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions on both on‑premise data centers and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Automate system provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Python and PowerShell scripts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate networking, storage, and security controls into system architectures.
- Develop and enforce operational best practices, including patch management, backup strategies, and incident response.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing Linux and Windows Server systems in a mission‑critical environment.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and PowerShell for automation and orchestration.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security frameworks, and system hardening techniques.
- Ability to work independently and communicate technical solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
