About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate embedded control software for Athena Control System components.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware and software, ensuring compliance with DoD security and performance standards.
- Conduct system-level testing, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis to resolve integration issues.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and validation results for certification and audit purposes.
- Maintain and update system documentation, ensuring traceability and adherence to aerospace quality processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems and control software development.
- Proficiency with C/C++ and real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with DoD security clearance processes and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
