About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture for space and cyber platforms, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and industry standards.
- Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions for operational issues in both hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate miniaturized sensors, launch systems, and cybersecurity controls into end‑to‑end solutions.
- Execute rigorous testing, validation, and verification procedures, including simulation and modeling, to certify system performance.
- Document system specifications, maintenance procedures, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, operations, and maintenance within space, cyber, or defense environments.
- Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink), configuration management, and documentation standards.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic, mission‑critical setting.
