Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining hardware, software, and infrastructure, leveraging Linux/Windows environments, virtualization, scripting, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provision, install, and configure servers, storage, and network devices across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Maintain system health through monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning for Linux and Windows platforms.
- Design, deploy, and manage virtualized workloads using VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar technologies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on technical research, system upgrades, and security hardening.
- Document system architecture, procedures, and incident resolutions for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration for Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automation.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
