Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, managing and securing storage and compute infrastructure using AWS, Linux, and automation tools, ensuring high availability, performance and compliance in a dynamic environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable storage and compute solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage automation workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting (Python) to streamline provisioning and configuration.
- Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize resource utilization with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Apply security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance controls across the infrastructure stack.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new services and support continuous delivery pipelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing Linux-based infrastructure in a cloud environment.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, VPC) and networking concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python).
- Strong understanding of storage technologies (NAS, SAN, object storage) and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of security fundamentals, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
