Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for defining, designing, and validating complex system architectures, managing requirements, and ensuring successful integration and testing using model‑based and agile methodologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture models and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Capture, analyze, and manage requirements, ensuring traceability to design, implementation, and verification artifacts.
- Coordinate configuration management activities, including baseline control and change tracking.
- Plan and execute system-level test and evaluation, analyzing results to drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile practices to deliver integrated solutions on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably on defense or aerospace contracts.
- Proficiency with Model‑Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., SysML, MagicDraw) and requirements management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of configuration management processes and tools (e.g., Git, ClearCase).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on‑site full time.
