Systems Engineer
Mid‑senior Systems Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and validating complex defense systems, leveraging MBSE tools, C++ development, and Linux environments while supporting secret‑clearance projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture models using Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Define, analyze, and verify system requirements, ensuring traceability through the development lifecycle.
- Design, code, and test software components in C++ on Linux platforms for embedded and mission‑critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, software, test, and program management) to integrate subsystems and resolve technical issues.
- Utilize DOORS (or similar requirements management tools) to manage requirement baselines and change control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Proficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., SysML, MagicDraw).
- Strong C++ programming skills and experience with Linux development environments.
- Experience using DOORS or comparable requirements management systems.
