Entry‑level Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, high‑performance systems across cloud and on‑prem environments, leveraging Linux, networking, and programming skills to support mission‑critical operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Linux‑based systems for reliability and scalability.
- Implement network solutions, including routing, switching, and firewall policies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and shell to streamline deployments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AWS services and ensure secure cloud operations.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root‑cause analysis, and apply patches or upgrades.
- Document system architecture, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs).
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC) and security principles.
