About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of architects and engineers in the design, implementation, and operation of secure cloud solutions for government missions.
- Architect scalable, resilient PaaS and IaaS environments, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Drive DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code across multiple cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement robust identity, access, and threat‑detection controls.
- Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable cloud strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with deep expertise in PaaS, IaaS, and DevOps.
- Proven leadership in managing large, diverse engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of federal security frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, CJIS).
- Hands‑on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
