Systems Engineer
Journeyman‑level Systems Engineer supporting the C3BM division, delivering resilient Air Force battle network architecture, integrating mission systems, and ensuring secure, high‑availability communications across joint and coalition forces.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrated battle network architectures for the Department of the Air Force.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for command, control, communications, and battle‑management systems across air, maritime, and joint mission teams.
- Collaborate with acquisition and mission integration teams to ensure requirements are met and system interoperability is achieved.
- Implement and verify cybersecurity controls, hardening, and compliance with DoD security standards.
- Develop scripts and automation tools (e.g., Python) to streamline system testing, configuration, and monitoring on Linux platforms.
Requirements
- Active Top‑Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, network architecture, or related fields within a DoD or aerospace environment.
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems, scripting (Python or similar), and network protocols.
- Knowledge of C3BM concepts, DoD acquisition processes, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
