Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer focused on implementing and managing internal MDM platforms, automating processes across IT teams, and developing scripts to improve operational efficiency using PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain the organization’s internal Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution for Windows, macOS, and mobile endpoints.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, and other scripting languages to streamline routine IT operations.
- Collaborate with multiple IT teams to identify repetitive tasks and create automated solutions that reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Monitor MDM health, troubleshoot device enrollment issues, and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Document processes, create runbooks, and provide knowledge transfer to support staff.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing MDM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE) in an enterprise environment.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python; experience with Bash or other shell scripting is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, networking basics, and endpoint security.
- Proven ability to automate IT workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
