Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer supporting DoD customers, applying Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, and MBSE to deliver robust solutions, with deep knowledge of Army acquisition and test processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering and modeling activities for Department of Defense projects, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and technical specifications.
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to develop, analyze, and validate system architectures and interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate system components, resolve technical issues, and maintain system integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support acquisition processes, including requirements management, risk assessment, and compliance with Army acquisition policies.
- Conduct test and evaluation planning, execution, and analysis to verify system performance and readiness.
- Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering and Systems Integration within a defense or aerospace environment.
- Hands‑on expertise with MBSE tools (e.g., SysML, DOORS, Enterprise Architect).
- Strong understanding of Army acquisition processes and test & evaluation methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.
- Team‑oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
