Systems Engineer
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating operations, and ensuring high availability of critical health information services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS supporting health‑information platforms.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Python, Bash, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize reliability and security.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new services and improve existing architectures.
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and best‑practice guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or DevOps, with strong Linux administration skills.
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Hands‑on scripting experience in Python and Bash for automation.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and incident response.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
