About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the systems engineering lifecycle for naval radar platforms, from concept through delivery.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements, and interface specifications.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams for design reviews, risk assessments, and test planning.
- Execute system-level integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Analyze performance data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend design improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems, or related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in radar or defense systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of DoD standards (MIL‑STD‑1553, MIL‑STD‑810, etc.) and test methodologies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
