Systems Engineer
Mid‑level Systems Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and validating aerospace hardware and software solutions, leveraging C++, Python, Linux, and model‑based systems engineering techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture models and interface control documents for aerospace projects.
- Design, code, and test embedded software components using C++ and Python on Linux‑based platforms.
- Perform requirements analysis, traceability, and verification to ensure compliance with DoD security and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including hardware, firmware, and test engineers—to integrate subsystems and resolve technical issues.
- Support configuration management, change control, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; 2–4 years of systems engineering experience in aerospace or defense.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python development on Linux environments.
- Experience with model‑based systems engineering tools (e.g., SysML, DOORS) and requirements management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
