About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive requirement sets for hypersonic propulsion, guidance, and control systems within a space‑flight context.
- Perform functional and performance modeling using SysML and MATLAB/Simulink to validate design intent against mission objectives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional reviews, traceability, and change control to ensure alignment with DO-254/DO-178C and other aerospace standards.
- Lead verification and validation activities, including test planning, execution, and analysis to confirm requirement satisfaction.
- Document and communicate requirement status, risk assessments, and technical decisions to stakeholders and certification bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in requirements engineering for hypersonic or high‑performance aerospace systems.
- Proficiency with SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
