Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and validating cabin systems for business and commercial aircraft, leveraging avionics, embedded software, and real‑time operating systems to deliver advanced lighting, audio, entertainment, and safety solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and integration of cabin avionics systems, including digital audio, lighting, and entertainment modules.
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware using C++ and Python, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and safety regulations.
- Implement and troubleshoot CAN bus networks and other in‑flight data links, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, conduct trade studies, and produce detailed technical documentation.
- Perform system validation, test planning, and failure mode analysis to certify aircraft integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in avionics or embedded systems development for aircraft.
- Proficiency with RTOS, CAN bus, and embedded C++ development.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with MATLAB or similar simulation tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced aerospace environment.
