Systems Engineer
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure IT infrastructure solutions, leveraging Linux, virtualization, cloud services, and automation tools to ensure high‑performance enterprise systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust system architectures that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Implement, configure, and manage virtualization platforms and cloud environments such as AWS.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools like Ansible and custom Python scripts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate services, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability.
- Maintain documentation, conduct capacity planning, and enforce best practices for system hardening and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Linux system administration and virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper‑V).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including EC2, VPC, and IAM.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and performance tuning.
