Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating complex aerospace and defense systems using Agile practices, requirements management, and modeling tools such as MATLAB.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements, and interface specifications for defense‑grade projects.
- Apply Agile development processes to deliver iterative system designs and ensure timely stakeholder feedback.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools like MATLAB and SysML to validate performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including hardware, software, and test engineers—to integrate subsystems and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, trade studies, and risk assessments to support program decisions and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field (Master’s degree acceptable with reduced experience).
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in systems engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and requirements management tools.
- Hands‑on experience with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB (or equivalent).
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe.
