Systems Engineer
Lead technical support and sustainment for the F‑35 APG‑81 AESA radar, managing production line execution, fielded system maintenance, and integration lab activities while serving as a Control Account Manager to track earned value and deliver project milestones.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on technical execution on the production line for the APG‑81 AESA radar, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.
- Lead sustainment activities for fielded radar systems, diagnosing and resolving operational issues to maintain mission readiness.
- Coordinate integration and developmental lab environments, managing test plans, data collection, and validation of new hardware/software.
- Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM), planning, executing, and reporting earned value for assigned work packages.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, logistics) to implement process improvements and support JSF/IFG engineering requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in radar systems engineering, specifically AESA technology.
- Strong understanding of JSF/IFG engineering processes and sustainment operations.
- Certified Control Account Manager (CAM) with demonstrated earned value management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project coordination abilities.
