Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and oversee the integration of advanced defense systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and adherence to DoD standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the sustainment and upgrade of mission‑critical platforms, managing schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
- Transform large data sets into actionable intelligence, collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop secure, scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and validation procedures to support certification and fielding.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and sustainment within a defense or aerospace environment.
- Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, cybersecurity standards, and data‑centric intelligence workflows.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high‑impact projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in modeling tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB) and experience with secure data handling and analytics platforms.
