Systems Engineer
Design and develop engine systems, providing engineering input across product development, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability of power solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide detailed engineering input for engine‑related product development projects, from concept through production release.
- Develop and validate control algorithms, thermal models, and performance simulations using tools such as MATLAB and C++.
- Collaborate with industrial engineering, production, and materials teams to translate designs into manufacturable solutions.
- Create and maintain 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with design standards and tolerances.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis on engine test data, propose corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in engine system design, control development, or related power‑train engineering.
- Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and SolidWorks for modeling, simulation, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and control systems applied to engine hardware.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross‑functional groups.
