Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and supporting advanced material handling and automation solutions, including conveyors, sortation, robotics, and warehouse control software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control logic for conveyor, sortation, and AS/RS equipment using PLCs and industrial networking protocols.
- Integrate robotics and automated material handling hardware with warehouse execution software.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site to ensure reliable operation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and service personnel for installed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in robotics integration and knowledge of warehouse management or execution software.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to read and create electrical schematics, and experience with HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel for installation and support activities.
