Systems Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure IT infrastructures, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats while optimizing system performance and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure network and server environments across Linux and Windows platforms.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify and remediate risks.
- Respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for system administration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in systems engineering with a focus on cyber security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall configuration, and SIEM tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
