Lead the design, deployment, and operation of high‑availability cryptography and identity services on AWS, driving automation, reliability, and mentorship in a large‑scale cloud environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cryptographic and identity services at scale on AWS, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Automate service deployment, configuration, and monitoring using IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define service requirements, performance metrics, and incident response procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
- Continuously improve operational processes, tooling, and documentation to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Strong background in cryptography, access control, and identity management.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response in distributed systems.
