About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, integration, and validation of aerospace electrical and software systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop system architecture, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), reliability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee hardware and software integration, perform system-level testing, and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Document design decisions, test results, and configuration changes in a structured engineering repository.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or defense systems development.
- Proficiency with system modeling tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB/Simulink) and test automation frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with reliability engineering, FMEA, and risk management processes.
