Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and validating the CMOSS Mounted Form Factor, applying systems engineering principles, embedded C++ development, RF analysis, and rigorous test and requirements management.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end systems engineering effort for the CMOSS Mounted Form Factor, from concept through production.
- Develop and maintain embedded software components using C++ to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Perform RF analysis, antenna integration, and signal‑chain validation to ensure compliance with mission requirements.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to define, trace, and verify system requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Plan, execute, and document test and evaluation activities, including hardware‑in‑the‑loop and field trials.
- Provide technical documentation, risk assessments, and status reports to stakeholders and government customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded software development, and RF hardware integration.
- Proficiency in C++ development and familiarity with real‑time operating systems.
- Experience with requirements management tools and test & evaluation processes.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
