Systems Engineer
Design and maintain complex CAD systems, integrate data with PLM tools, and ensure geometric accuracy across product development cycles using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and GD&T standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and libraries to support multi‑disciplinary engineering teams.
- Integrate CAD data with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, ensuring seamless version control and traceability.
- Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot geometry, enforce GD&T practices, and optimize model performance.
- Automate repetitive CAD tasks through scripting or macro development to improve productivity.
- Provide technical training and support for CAD tools, fostering best‑practice adoption across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with major CAD platforms (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or Siemens NX).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, modeling best practices, and PLM integration (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill).
- Proficiency in creating and managing CAD standards, libraries, and automation scripts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
