Senior Systems Engineer driving automation, performance, and reliability across Windows and Linux environments, leveraging cloud, virtualization, and monitoring tools to resolve complex escalations and innovate client solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Windows and Linux infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Lead incident response and complex escalation handling, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell, Ansible, and other scripting tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Configure and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and container orchestration where applicable.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and adopt best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with a strong focus on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Proven expertise in cloud services (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as PowerShell and Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
