Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for defining, integrating, and validating complex aerospace systems using model‑based tools, programming, and requirements management in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture, functional and performance requirements for aircraft subsystems.
- Create and execute model‑based simulations using MATLAB/Simulink to validate system behavior.
- Implement software components and algorithms in C++ and Python for system integration and testing.
- Manage requirements traceability and configuration using IBM DOORS.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile sprints to deliver system deliverables on schedule.
- Support verification and validation activities, including test planning, execution, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering for aerospace or high‑performance vehicles.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, C++, Python, and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
