About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture and design specifications for submarine weapon and support systems.
- Lead integration and verification activities, coordinating with hardware, software, and test teams to validate performance against requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, failure mode analyses, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design reviews, test plans, and certification reports for defence authorities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve design issues and drive continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering within a defence or complex systems environment.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, system architecture frameworks, and integration testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB/Simulink) and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
