About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Restructure legacy documentation into DocAsCode formats, ensuring consistency and version control across engineering artifacts.
- Collaborate with development teams in daily scrums to align system requirements with product roadmaps.
- Design, test, and validate system architectures for Rapid Resilient Command and Control (R2C2) within satellite operations and ground communications.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and documentation standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cross‑functional teams on systems integration and deployment.
Requirements
- 4‑6 years of proven systems engineering experience in high‑consequence environments.
- Strong background in satellite operations (SatOps) and ground communications.
- Hands‑on experience with DocAsCode tools (e.g., AsciiDoc, Markdown, Git) and agile frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation.
- Self‑motivated, mission‑driven mindset with a passion for developing cutting‑edge defense solutions.
