Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer who designs, integrates, and validates custom and commercial electrical, mechanical, RF, and mobile communications solutions for a diverse client base, working autonomously within a small, high‑performing engineering team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end design of custom and COTS‑based systems, covering electrical, mechanical, RF, and mobile communications subsystems.
- Develop system architecture, interface control documents, and functional specifications while ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Perform analysis, simulation, and testing of RF and communications components to validate performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers, technicians, and program managers to resolve technical issues and drive timely delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a self‑starting, solution‑focused environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of hands‑on experience in system design and integration.
- Proficiency in RF engineering concepts, signal integrity, and communications protocols.
- Strong background in electrical and mechanical design, including experience with CAD tools and COTS component selection.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and translate high‑level guidance into concrete technical solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills.
